01. Overview
- The building curtain wall testing equipment is capable of conducting four performance tests: air permeability, watertightness, resistance to wind pressure, and inter-story deformation performance of building curtain walls.
- It can test specimens such as framed curtain walls, unitized curtain walls, point-supported curtain walls, all-glass curtain walls, and point-supported curtain walls using tensioned cable/rod systems.

04. Technical Parameters
- Equipment pressure box specifications and maximum testable specimen size: 6m × 10m (width × height). A platform is designed every 2.5m vertically on the curtain wall pressure box. Each partitioned platform or space within the pressure box is accessible via dedicated sealed doors. A staircase for personnel access is provided at the back of the pressure box, allowing entry into the pressure box through sealed doors on each level. Guardrails are installed at the front of the pressure box to protect installation personnel.
- Maximum static pressure: Absolute value >12kPa, accuracy 1Pa.
- Fluctuating pressure: At maximum pressure of 2500Pa, fluctuation cycle 3s–5s, target control value accuracy ±1.5%; for preliminary pressurization, cyclic pressurization, rating, and engineering tests, target control value accuracy ±2%.
- Water flow meter: 4 L/m²·min, measurement error not greater than 5% of indicated value.
- Deformation test: 1/100 (max ±120mm), cycle 3–5s, target control value accuracy ±1.5%, accuracy 0.1mm, range 0–250mm.
- Wind load resistance: Pressure > ±5000Pa, pressure accuracy ≤1%.
- Inter-story displacement: One set of inter-story deformation device, using servo motor and electro-hydraulic load loading device for inter-story deformation tests. Each direction of X, Y, Z axes can be loaded individually, and two or three directions can be loaded simultaneously. Thrust 1–5t, cycle 3s–10s. Displacement meter: 0–50mm, displacement accuracy ≤0.25% FS. Manual and automatic control of the test procedure is available.
- Water spray method: External spray system.
- Differential pressure gauge: Error ±1% of indicated value.
- Wireless displacement measurement: Range 0–150mm, accuracy 0.25% of full scale, 18 units provided. Wired displacement measurement: Range 0–50mm, displacement accuracy ≤0.01mm; 3 units provided. Displacement detection channels: 200.
- Measurement and control system: All test conditions and data acquisition/analysis are completed by computer, ultimately generating a complete report.
- The equipment supports various national standard pressurization modes. The software automatically controls the process, displays real-time pressure curves, includes sensor calibration, allows manual testing, provides free customized testing solutions, and supports remote monitoring and system interface expansion. Data uses an Access database; reports can be customized in Word format. The manufacturer is responsible on-site installation and commissioning and ensures installation quality.
